About POINT73802

We’ve all heard the old cliche, “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” I beg to differ. While there are still a number of people who put in ample effort for the worthwhile cause, simply doing it “well” is not good enough. If this were a Form vs. Function deliberation, one-half of the equation would be missing. Style. (I’m not talking about trends, which come and go seasonally. Nor fashion, with its over-the-top offerings that beg for attention.) Cool. Clean. Subtle. Nowhere is this more evident than in vintage classics. From architecture to automobiles, to uniforms, workwear and work boots, dungarees, leather wallets, and fast color bandannas - I could go on and on... Consequently, the saying should go: "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing with STYLE!" This is a nod - no, a deep bow to those classics - the construction and often understated details that have allowed them to stand the test of time. I strive to be part of an evolution that offers something unique in a way that embraces both the craftsmanship and the true essence of the icons which came before.

Survival of the Purist.
