SUSHI & CORN

Each pouch has a raw (unwashed) Japanese denim base. From there it’s a mix of Japanese and/or American fabric, which is how the playful name for the line - SUSHI & CORN - is relevant.

This one has a raw denim outer (with the back or “wrong side” for the upper portion of the pouch) with exposed selvedge edges that create decorative stripes and gold thread topstitching (reminiscent of a pair of cuffed blue jeans), and uses a red Hav-a-Hank bandanna for its liner, which was made in the USA.

Hand stamped leather patch and pull tab, and an antiqued brass YKK zipper. Completely handmade and sewn using a circa 1950 Singer 201-2 sewing machine in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon (PDX), USA.
